Meet the Women of NAOBC – Nikki Konzem

On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Nikki Konzem.

Q: Tell us about yourself

A. I’m a wife to James and Mom to two beautiful daughters, Emily (10) and Lily (4). I am also a homeschool teacher for Emily and Lily.

Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC

A: We have been members of NAOBC for about 15 years. We are a part of the IC3 BFG, which has been a tremendous blessing to us. I served in the nursery for several years when we first joined NAOBC. We helped with Rosalynn’s Hope (Adoption Ministry) when it was active in our church. The past seven years or so my husband and I have served in the 3-year-old BFG, which has been a lot of fun.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?

A: I love to do paper crafts and dance fitness classes!

Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?

A: Many Christian women have made an impact in my life! Lately I’ve been reminded how much I’ve missed the women in our BFG (IC3) after not seeing many of them in person due to Covid-19. So many of them are precious friends; some I’ve known for many years. They are a great encouragement to me and I’m thankful to the Lord for them!

Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?

A: The Lord has reminded me through this last difficult year to remember and trust His promises. Sometimes I’m tempted to doubt. But He is a loving and faithful Father who is working all things for good in His struggling children. He’s also reminded me how precious His bride is – NAOBC has been such an encouragement and a rock for us through Covid-19. When the world has been so crazy and unstable, Christ and His church are secure.
