What can I expect when I visit Ninth and O?
Walking into a church for the first time can feel like stepping into uncharted territory. Whether you’re new to faith or just looking for a new church home, our hope is for you to feel as comfortable as possible. We invite you to peruse the content on this page as you prepare to navigate your first visit with us.
BEFORE YOUR VISIT
Most first-time guests prefer to visit a worship service, although you’re more than welcome to visit a Bible study. On Sunday mornings, we offer identical worship services at 9:00 and 10:30. Our Bible studies also meet at 9:00 and 10:30. Click here is a list of our adult Bible studies, which we call Bible Fellowship Groups.
In terms of dress, most people dress casually while some wear more traditional church clothes. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early. Feel free to bring a Bible, notebook, and pen, but none of these are necessary. WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Our church is located at 4401 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, KY 40218. When arriving, you will pull into a parking lot with plenty of parking spaces available. Our building has two entrances that are easily visible. When entering, a Welcome Team member will greet you. Don’t hesitate to tell them you’re visiting for the first time. They are prepared to answer questions and help you navigate the building.
Our worship services are considered “blended,” meaning they possess a mixture of traditional and contemporary elements. In every service, we worship Jesus Christ through music, prayer, giving, and a Bible-based sermon. Guests are not expected to give a financial gift and will never be singled out in any way. During announcements, guests will be encouraged to fill out a guest form. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to let us know you visited. Our members are friendly, so don’t be surprised if one or more people introduce themselves.

AFTER THE SERVICE
Our worship services and Bible studies last roughly 75-minutes. Before leaving, we encourage guests to visit a Connection Center located in either lobby. Here you will interact with trained members who can answer questions, and if so desired, connect you with a pastor. Guests will also receive a gift as a token of appreciation for visiting.
