Tuesday Testimonies – Molly Kile

As we travel on our spiritual journey, it’s always encouraging to hear from others how God has worked in their lives. Periodically we’ll share testimonies from our NAOBC Women on how God worked in their life. Today’s testimony is from Molly Kile.

Molly has been a member of NAOBC since January 2020. She is a member of the College BFG and serves in various ways – social media, 1916 Shop, NAOBC Kids. You never know where you might see Molly. You can read more about her here.

I was born to Christian parents and heard about Jesus from a young age. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was six and was baptized that same year. Because of this, during my younger teenage years, I felt like I “didn’t have a testimony”. However, I began to realize how prideful that thought process was. Just because I didn’t have a dramatic testimony did not mean that the Lord did not save me from just as much sin as he saved other people from. My salvation at age six was just as much a divine rescue from Christ as anyone else.

Although I do not doubt my salvation at such a young age, the Lord has obviously done a lot of sanctification in my life since that time. When I was seven, and then again when I was nine, my family went through the adoption process to adopt my two younger sisters. I had been praying for younger siblings for a long time, so I was thrilled. Through both situations, I was able to see the Lord’s hand so clearly at work. The way that he brought both of them into my family was a beautiful miracle. It also was an amazing picture of our adoption into the Lord’s family.

In the following years, the Lord was so good to use things like my family, dance, and church to continue to grow me.

The past year has been an incredible year filled with a roller coaster of highs and lows. Through it all, the Lord has put one word continually on my heart: Faithful. He has never ceased to be faithful throughout my entire life. His faithfulness endures forever. He has never failed me, and He never will.

The words of Psalm 136:23-26 have been a constant encouragement: “Who remembered us in our lowliness, for His faithfulness is everlasting, and has rescued us from our enemies, for His faithfulness is everlasting; Who gives food to all flesh, for His faithfulness is everlasting. Give thanks to the God of heaven, for His faithfulness is everlasting.”
