Suffering Servant

We’ve seen through the story so far that God will send a rescuer who will crush the head of the serpent and deal with the problem of sin. This rescuer is going to be a king. Isaiah adds to the imagery and points out that this rescuer is not only a king but a suffering servant who himself will be crushed for the sins of his people. What a good and gracious servant King we have!
