NAOBC For Life Spotlight – Michelle Williamson
When you are a member at NAOBC, no matter where God takes you, the love for NAOBC remains. It’s part of your DNA. Periodically we’ll spotlight women who were former members – see where they are today and what NAOBC means to them. Today we’re meeting Michelle Williamson.
Q: Tell a little about yourself – family, occupation (if applicable), etc.
A: We have four children – ages 10-15 – three boys and a girl. We homeschool our children and I work part time as a speech pathologist. While Eric was attending Southern Seminary, I attended University of Louisville and earned my Masters in Speech Pathology. We currently attend First Baptist of Hendersonville, NC. My husband is bivocational- teaching at the local college and Bible college and serving in ministry at our church.
Q: When did you attend NAOBC? What brought you to NAOBC?
A: We attended NAOBC from 2004-2010. Dr. Cook’s preaching is what brought us there!
Q: Where did you serve while at NAOBC?
A. While attending NAOBC I had the joy of serving in the nursery.

Q: What memory from your time at NAOBC means the most to you still today?
A: We had the absolute joy of having our first child dedicated at NAOBC. That is such a wonderful memory for me. Another sweet memory is one Sunday the electricity had gone out and we had the service in the parking lot :)
Q: What is one thing you loved about NAOBC?
A: During my time there, I loved not only the strong teaching very present, but the love of the people and community that was cultivated. We have met our lifelong best friends while attending NAOBC. When we met, we had no children and now have 8 children between us all! Very grateful to meet and continue to have these dear friendships.
