NAOBC For Life Spotlight – Linda Smith

When you are a member at NAOBC, no matter where God takes you, the love for NAOBC remains. It’s part of your DNA. Periodically we’ll spotlight women who were former members – see where they are today and what NAOBC means to them. Today we’re meeting Linda Smith.

Q: Tell a little about yourself – family, occupation (if applicable), etc.

A: I am the wife of Jim, mother of two: Lauren, husband Chris, children, Ben and Stella; Andrew, wife, Veronica, and baby on the way! I was born in Canada and have lived in numerous different places in the States since the age of nine. I am retired from various types of administrative support positions.

Q: When did you attend NAOBC? What brought you to NAOBC?

A: We were members of NAOBC when we lived in Louisville from 2013 to 2016. We joined NAOBC very soon after our move. My daughter, Lauren met and married her husband, Chris, while we were at NAOBC.

Q: Where did you serve while at NAOBC?

A. I served in the Women’s Ministry in charge of registration for the annual Women’s Conference.

Q: What memory from your time at NAOBC means the most to you still today?

A. I have many wonderful memories of our Bible Fellowship Group weekly meetings and numerous gatherings at the homes of various members. I am still in contact with a number of them.

Q: What is one thing you loved about NAOBC?

A. There are many things I loved while we were there but knowing that Pastor Bill was faithful in preaching God’s Word weekly meant so much to me. I know the impact he has had, and continues to have, honors the Lord. I am so thankful for our time at NAOBC!
