We believe our church has been given the joyous responsibility to engage our world with the gospel. One way we seek to reach our world is through short-term mission trips. Our goal is to plan strategic short-term mission trips that result in sustainable gospel impact in specific locations. It’s our hope to lock arms with missionaries and ministry partners around the globe who could use our teams in propelling the gospel forward.

Due to COVID-19, all 2020 trips have been cancelled except for the trip to Ducktown, Tennessee.

Oneida – CANCELLED

Trip Description: This trip marks our fourth year going to Oneida Baptist Institute in Eastern Kentucky. This trip is geared toward serving the students and staff of OBI while working on the school property. Oneida is a great family trip, and kids age 12 and older are welcomed to be a part of this team.

Trip Description: After taking a 2018 vision trip, we are returning to Cordoba, Argentina, to work with former Ninth & O members Brandon and Krystal Leach, who serve with Reaching & Teaching. We will be engaging in evangelism, discipleship, and pastoral training at the Leach’s church, Iglesia Biblica Bautista Crecer.

Trip Description: Crossings on Mission is a trip for high school students only. NAOBC students will spend a week partnering with NAMB church planters in the city of Chicago. Additionally, students will receive training in apologetics and evangelism to help equip them as they minister to the people of Chicago. Register for this specific trip at here.

Trip Description: If interested in participating in this trip, please contact Pastor Philip Brown directly. This trip is designed for dads and sons (ages 13 and up). We will be working with the crisis center in southeast Tennessee doing light construction, and our team will also participate in daily Bible studies on biblical manhood. We will also take a fun trip down the Ocoee River. Training on the proper use of tools will occur prior to the trip.

Trip Description: Our team will serve alongside former Ninth & O members Chris and Carol Sills who serve with Reaching & Teaching. We will be involved in ministry and pastoral training at the Sill’s church in Cuenca, Ecuador.

*Ninth and O Baptist Church’s 2020 short-term mission trips information is subject to change, so please contact the mission trip leader to ensure information is up-to-date.

*Applicants who are not members of NAOBC are welcomed to apply; however, members receive priority in filling trip spots.

*Great Commission Offering (GCO) scholarships are applied to the mission trip’s final payment. Applicants will be notified whether or not they have received a scholarship no later than one month after the mission trip application deadline. The scholarship amount awarded varies depending on the trip’s cost, applicant’s needs, and the status of the Great Commission Offering fund. Scholarships are not awarded for those going on the Oneida trip and are available for NAOBC members only.
