AM PROJECTS (8:30 to Noon)
Love Breckenridge Lane – Ryan Whitford
A small army of weedeater and shovel-toting NAOBC members will be cleaning up the sidewalks from Six Mile Lane to our basecamp at the church as we love our city by adopting a stretch of road.
Love Buechel Park – Philip Brown
We will take the morning to clean up trash and freshen up the park’s landscape. This is a great way to be a blessing to our community. This project is a great option for families.
Love Businesses – Gabriel Hinerman
Imagine the impact made as members step foot through the front doors of 70 plus businesses with a gift in hand! For this project we will be sending out teams into our community to visit nearby businesses to thank them for their service to our city. We will assemble the gifts we distribute in the morning, and gifts will contain handwritten notes, treats, and various gifts.
Love Fern Creek Park – Reydel and Laura Leon Machado
We will take the morning to clean up trash and freshen up the park’s landscape. This is a great way to be a blessing to our community. This project is a great option for families.
Love First Responders – Vanessa Sims
Either you or someone you know and love has most likely been helped by a first responder. From law enforcement responding to a call, to a firefighter rushing into a burning building, to EMT providing lifesaving care, when tragedies strike, they are there to help. Join us as we assemble on-the-go kits for six precincts and stations.
Love Okolona Elementary – Larry Buchanan
We will continue a work we started two years at Okolona Elementary. This year we will beautify the property through painting, removing old landscaping, trimming trees, and mulch.
PM PROJECTS (1:00 pm to 4:30 pm)
Drive-Thru Prayer – Cole McCollum
We will love our neighbors in our community through prayer. This team will pray with folks who drive onto our campus. They will be given a treat bag and an invite to church.
Love Avery Apartments – Ethan Hinkson
We recently completed our second year of ministry in the Avery apartments and the hope is that this project will further our ministry with the tenants. Volunteers will be assisting our Ninth & O supported missionaries as they host an apartment-wide party.
Love Billtown Farms – Peter Holmes
We are bringing an old school block party into the Billtown Farms neighborhood. We have several church families who reside in this neighborhood and they’re looking for volunteers to help them with different aspects of the party.
Love Forest Hills – Brandon Pisacrita
NAOBC loves Forest Hills Commons. This assisted living facility will host us as we provide a time of playing games, snacks, and singing hymns. Come and join us as we love this deserving community.
Love Masonic Home – Matthew Walden
The goal of this project is to continue building relationships that we have established this year at the Masonic homes. We will be doing an array of fun activities with the senior adult residents. This project will not only bring joy to the residents, but to those serving as well.
