What’s Happening With Online Hangouts
In order to facilitate community among our students during this season, we are committed to creating safe and controlled online spaces for students and adult leaders to meet. Towards that end, we are utilizing Zoom software. Zoom allows us to monitor these meetings and create virtual small groups.
Our weekly lineup of Zoom calls includes both HS and MS BFGs (Sundays) as well as a Youth wide fellowship time (Wednesdays).
To participate in these sessions, please click on the appropriate tab below and follow the link to the Zoom room. Ideally, students should log in 3-5 minutes before the scheduled time. Participation will require you to download Zoom onto your electronic device.
Zoom is a free program, which downloads quickly and easily onto most devices. Zoom should download automatically onto your device when you click on one of the hangout links below. However, you can also find links to download Zoom in the dropdown menu below.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Drew Smith at email@example.com or 502-727-7396.
WARNING: Have An Accurate Display Name
Students must set their actual name as their display name in Zoom in order to gain immediate entry to an online hangout. Otherwise, they will be delayed entry until an adult leader has an opportunity to verify they are one of our students. You can find instructions on how to update your display name HERE.
WARNING: Old Links May Not Work
To make our Zoom meetings as secure and adaptable as possible, we will update our Zoom meeting links from time to time (changing certain Zoom settings requires updating the meeting link). Please make sure that you utilize the Zoom links on NAOBC Youth Live to access our Zoom meetings going forward as older links may not work.
This is our last week for HS and MS C-groups. Beginning on Sunday, May 31, we will update the links below to reflect our new weekly schedule.
