Bible Fellowship Group – Just like all of our church body, the college is also a BFG (Bible Fellowship Group). Sunday morning BFGs are a crucial part of our church body and especially for our college-age students to encourage and minister to one another while listening to great biblical teaching.
Mid-Week Small Groups – During the semester, students are split up into girls and guys small groups that meet in homes, coffee shops and campuses around Louisville. These studies can be through a book of the Bible or through challenging discipleship materials.
Service– Each of our college students are challenged to use their gifts, callings and talents at Ninth and O whether they are here with us for only a few years or plan to stay in the Louisville area.
Internships– NAOBC’s internships are a way for you to serve the church but also receive more intentional training in the area of your giftedness or call.
Ministers in Training– Many of our students at Ninth and O have felt a calling in their lives for full-time or part -time ministry. We feel like it is our duty to give them real life opportunities to minister as well as invest in them while they are with us. We offer the PA / Pastoral Internship for students to get practical ministry training and experience that they will not receive from their formal education.
Laymen – Many of our students already exist as faithful servants and we believe we should train and invest intentionally with them as they narrow down their spiritual gifts. Mentorships are a goal for all of our laymen.
U of L Outreach– We are currently establishing an internship for incoming freshmen who will live on campus at U of L. This is a 4 year commitment from our ministry to disciple, hold accountable and encourage students as they grow in Christ and reach out to those campus.
