Meet the Women of NAOBC – Michele Walker
On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Michele Walker.
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: I’ve been married to Greg for 26 years and we have five children – Victoria, Emily, Andrew, Abigail, and Hannah. I am a fourth grade teacher at Whitefield Academy.
Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC
A: We have been at NAOBC since January 2001. We joined as members in April – the day Pastor Cook was voted in as pastor. (That was April 1, 2001 for all you historians in the crowd)

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?
A: I grew up in Minnesota and have 11 siblings.
Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?
A: I’ve been blessed to have many women touch my life and point me to Christ. One stands out as a mentor to me during my teenage years and even to this day: Mrs. Frances Taylor. She invested in my life with her time and talents and I always knew she would ask me if I was being faithful to my prayer and Bible study time. I can still hear her voice asking me, “How’s your walk with the Lord going? What have you learned from His Word this week?”
Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?
A: The lessons I’m learning continue in my life. Patience, being content with my present situations, being sure my joy and peace are found in Christ alone. Nothing else is constant but His Word and faithfulness.
