Meet the Women of NAOBC – Haley Witt
On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Haley Witt.
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: My husband, Ben, and I have been married for two and a half years. We met through the Singles BFG and knew on our first date that each other was “the one.” I am a stay-at-home Mama to our two kiddos, Ezekiel (Zeke) and Ellianna (Ellie). I’m living my childhood dream of being a Mama and Wife. I love photography and crafts and for a while I had a small photography business and I still run a crafting business called Created Witt Love. Ben and I run it together since we do wooden pieces as well.
Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC
A: I’ve been a member of NAOBC for 15 years. My family lived in Louisville for five years and then moved away, but I moved back for school two years afterwards and just never moved my membership to a church where my family was living. We are currently in the YC7 BFG. Before 2020, I served in the nursery and did some AWANA before that.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?
A: I was an Army daughter, sister, and wife all at once for one month before my Dad and Husband got out. I’ve also lived in four states and two countries.
Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?
A: Probably my Mom. She has honestly been the person who has influenced me the most and has made me who I am today. I find myself repeating so much of what she engrained in my head growing up. It’s true what they say “I opened my mouth and my Mom came out.” She’s so full of wisdom and has always pushed me to Christ when things go wrong or when I just need encouragement.
Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?
A: Oh goodness! Our plans are not always the Lord’s plans. We had all these plans for 2020 – trips, growing our businesses and with the way it all happened, He was basically saying “nope not this year.” I’m sure a lot of people can relate, but 2020 was just a fully unexpected year for us from me quitting photography to us adding another kiddo.
