Meet the Women at NAOBC – Sarah Haskins
On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Sarah Haskins.
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: I am the mother to 3 young men (I guess I can’t really call them kids anymore… lol). Justin is 20, Jordan is 18, and Jaiden is 16. When I’m not in the stands cheering at the boys football/wrestling events, I am working full time as the Director of Business for Poe Companies, a local real estate developer.
Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC
A: We came to Ninth and O through Upward Soccer and have been here for almost 15 years. During my time at Ninth and O I have served in the Preschool ministry, Awanas, and am currently serving in the youth ministry.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?
A: A fun fact about me is that I was born and raised in Alaska.
Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?
A: I think the woman who has impacted my life the most is my mom. We had a difficult relationship over the years, but after her passing I think I realized what a strong person she was and understood all the sacrifices she made for my me and my brother over the years. I can now see how she impacted my life and her influence in how I have parented my boys over the years.
Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?
A: The Lord has taught me many things over the past year, but the importance of relying on Him seems to be the overlapping lesson. Through the pandemic and living through the first year after the passing of my mom, I have seen God’s faithfulness and experienced such peace as I have leaned on Him during this season.
