Meet the Women at NAOBC – Molly Kile
On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Molly Kile.
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: I am a sophomore at Boyce College where I’m majoring in communications. I was born and raised in Simpsonville, Kentucky, which is right outside of Louisville, and I still live there today. I became a believer and was baptized when I was six years old. I have three sisters, one older sister, Macy, who is married to Bobby Marcum, and two younger sisters Moriah (11) and Mia (9). I love dance, sports, hunting, and really anything that involves being outside.
Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC
A: I have been a member at NAOBC since January 2020. My family and I joined just over two months before the pandemic began. Though it was a different time to connect I felt so appreciated and connected to the youth ministry (which I was part of at the time) by all the amazing leaders and members. Since graduation this past May, I’ve been a member of the College BFG. I serve in 4th/5th grade BFG, and have been recently serving with Pastor Blake in the 1916 shop.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?
A: I danced throughout high school at Elevate Dance Ministry here in Louisville. I learned ballet, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and lyrical. I’m currently still dancing one night a week and I run their social media pages!
Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?
A: The woman who has been most impactful in my life is definitely my Mom. I am constantly encouraged by the example that she has set before me ever since I was born until this day in her daily walk with the Lord and her prayer life. She has always made herself available for me to go to her whenever I wanted. :-)
Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?
A: Something that the Lord has been showing me repeatedly over the last year and half through the pandemic is waiting on Him and having complete satisfaction in Him. A passage that he repeatedly put on my heart was 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10:
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
