Meet the Women at NAOBC – Lindsey Cook

On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Lindsey Cook.

Q: Tell us about yourself

A: I am from Indiana and currently live there in Floyd County. I’m an aunt to an awesome nine year old boy and seven year old girl and I hang out with them quite a bit. I’m close with my older brother and his wife and still see my parents regularly. I work in IT for Humana and am a UofL alumnae. Go Cards!

Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC

A: I’ve been at Ninth And O for about three years now and I serve on the worship team and occasionally fill-in leading our ladies BFG class.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?

A. I’m in the process of growing two pineapples in my living room. I love a good plant experiment.

Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?

A: My mom, no doubt. She has been my number one encourager and supporter. She has also been an amazing example of being a godly wife and of being persistent even through physical pain.

Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?

A: The Lord is reminding me of how much joy there is in the hope of eternity with Christ. When the world is literally crashing around you, you can look to Jesus and have joy and hope at the same time in spite of any circumstance.
