Meet the Women at NAOBC – Leah Brown

On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Leah Brown.

Q: Tell us about yourself

A: I am 14 years old. I have one younger brother named Conner, and my parents are Philip and Chanda Brown. I love to bake for fellow church members’ parties and celebrations.

Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC

A: I have been at NAOBC my whole life. I am in 9th grade and go to the Youth BFG. I love to serve in the preschool ministry, specifically the babies and one year olds.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?

A: I LOVE ice cream! My favorite place in Louisville is probably Graeters, and I really like the salted caramel flavor.

Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?

A: My mom has definitely made the most impact in my life. She is always there for me when I need to talk about something. She is the most selfless person I know!

Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?

A: The Lord has taught me selflessness and to live for His glory. I tend to struggle with not thinking of others and just thinking of how a situation benefits me. I have been blessed with great parents who have taught me how to love others in a selfless way. Living for Him and not for the world has also been a struggle. Just to have the mindset that we should live to glorify Him, not friends or fellow Christians.
