Meet the Women at NAOBC – Kimberly Burnett
On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Kimberly Burnett.
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: My husband, John, and I have been married for nearly 27 years. Our oldest son is David and he has two children – Lily, 12 and Logan, 9. Our middle child is Leeanne and she is married to Bobby. They have three children – Hannah, 14, Dylan, 8, and Tyler, 7. Our youngest child is Michael who’ll turn 17 in May. We have two fur babies – Pippie and Maggie.
Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC
A: Our family began attending NAOBC in 2010, I believe, about two years after my Mom had been attending for two years. We decided to join and make this our church home! We are part of the AC2 BFG under the leadership of Dr Jeff Elieff. I served in AWANA during the time we had that ministry. I also served as a greeter.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?
A. I used to be a licensed scuba diver. My Dad and I would go to rock quarries and dive. Fish would come right up to us and tap our mask.
Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?
A: Penny Watson is the woman who led me to Christ. For her, I am so thankful.
Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?
A: That no matter where or what you think you’re supposed to do in your life, if God wants you somewhere else or to do something else, that’s what you’re going to do.
