Meet the Women at NAOBC – Erin Romero

On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Erin Romero

Q: Tell us about yourself

A: My husband, Nick, and I have been married for four years and have two beautiful and sweet girls. Hannah, who is two years old (she keeps us on our toes) and Emma who is 7 months old (she is proving to be just as smart as Hannah). I get the wonderful blessing of getting to spend all day with my girls.

Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC

A: We have been at NAOBC since the beginning of November 2020. COVID gave us time to step back and make the decision to change churches for our family. We picked NAOBC because we already had people in the church that we knew and trusted. We are a part of Young Couple 6. They have been a big blessing to our little family in the love that they have shown us. Nick and I have served a couple times in the preschool department.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?

A: I am 1 of 8 children. I am the fourth born, but my parents’ first daughter. Yes, we are all biological siblings and my precious Mom homeschooled all 8 of us. Being the first daughter, I was a little spoiled by my brothers until they realized that they were making a little monster.

Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?

A: I would have to say my Mom. She has been mother, teacher, advisor, and friend through the years. Even at my most unlovable she didn’t give up on me.

Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?

A: That my plans for life don’t always line up with His plans for my life. It was not my plan to have kids 17 months apart. But He knew that we needed Emma’s giggles in our family sooner rather then later.
