Meet the Women at NAOBC – Anika Hoglen
On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Anika. Hoglen.
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: I have two sisters. One is married with four girls. I’m a reading interventionist (teacher) in JCPS.
A: How long have you been at NAOBC? BFG? Areas where you serve?
I think I’ve been a member for 8 years. I serve in the nursery once a month.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?
A: I was born in Spain
Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?
A: Growing overseas there weren’t many Christians around. My mom has always been a great role model.
Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?
A: Working in a very liberal school where you can get in trouble for mentioning the Lord, I’ve learned/am working on not complaining or arguing and forgiving co-workers who have wronged me and not holding a grudge. Being able to do this is a great witness to my co-workers and showing them the love the Lord has given us.
