Meet the Women at NAOBC – Angie Hammons
On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Angie Hammons.
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: I have been married to David this past September for 37 years. We have two grown kids, both married. I work for Anthem Insurance as a Business Analyst and have also been there for 37 years.
Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC
A: We have been at NAOBC since the summer of 2019 and are currently in Tommy Sims BFG. My husband and I both are serving in the nursery, and I served in VBS. We both also served in Love the Ville this past year and really enjoyed that.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?
A: My dad was in the Army so I am an Army brat. My first couple of years I was raised in Germany. I don’t remember a lot about it, just bits and pieces. My older sister remembers more. I attended four elementary schools before we finally settled down when my Dad retired.
Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?
A: Her name was Mrs Williams and she was a surrogate Grandmother to me as I did not really know my own Grandmothers. She lived a few doors down from us and was there for me when my parents were going through some rough times. She offered some very good advice and wise wisdom.
Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?
A: Patience and caring for others. With everything that has been going on, our family has been very fortunate when others have not been so lucky. We have done some things to help out, but I know we could have done more. God has always been so good to our family and watched over us and provided for us.
Angie isn’t on social media but look for her smiling face at NAOBC to get to know her!
