Meet the Women at NAOBC – Amanda Reynolds

On Mondays, we’ll take time to meet the women of NAOBC. Five questions followed by how you can connect with the NAOBC women on social media. Today’s interview is with Amanda Reynolds.

Q: Tell us about yourself

A: I’ve been married to Curtis for 13 lucky years. We have one 8 year old boy named Wyatt. I grew up in TN and came to KY for Seminary (didn’t complete my degree) met Curtis, got married and stayed! I work at a company called The Lyons Companies. We make store fixtures (Dollar Tree, Food Lion, Dollar General), appliance parts (Whirlpool, GE) as well as industrial and food service parts (Circle K, Wendy’s) I am in Accounts Receivable.

Q: Tell us about your time at NAOBC

A: I think it’s been 11 years at NAOBC. We attend IC6 with the Rileys and Chittys. We were doing nursery pre-Covid (haven’t been put back on the schedule, should probably check into that!) and I help with the kids on Wednesday nights, currently in the K-2nd grade class.

Q: What is a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?

A: I used to want to be a truck driver so I could travel a bunch!

Q: What woman has made the most impact in your life?

A: My Grandmother. She died when I was only 10 but she held our family together with her love.

Q: What is something the Lord has taught you in the last year?

A: Trust! I’ve always been terrified of diseases and pandemics and hey look! We are in the middle of one! I’ve had a ton of fear but the Lord has continually comforted me and so far none of my family members or myself have gotten Covid.
