Read Chapter 8 in Jesus’ Final Week

“The most important truths in this chapter are Christological Jesus, the Son of God and King of Israel, was condemned to die by crucifixion. We see here the Savior of the world mocked beaten, and rejected by His own people. He was condemned by a man who believed Him to be innocent. The One condemned to death spoke the world into existence and is the object of angelic worship. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, cast out demons, and resuscitated the dead; and still they hated Him.” (115-116)
